Dentistry was a natural path for Dr. Melissa Rodgers given her life long interest in science and her affinity for working with people. She works hard to make dental care a comfortable and pain free experience. She does this by staying on top of the latest innovations in the field of dentistry by attending extensive continuing education courses and conferences throughout the United States. She offers her patients over 20 years of experience in private practice in Dutchess and Putnam counties.
Raised in south Florida, educated in the Northeast, Dr. Rodgers comes to Katonah Dental from neighboring Connecticut. After completing her undergraduate studies at Boston University, she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University. Following graduation, she completed a residency at Danbury Hospital where she is currently on staff and continues to supervise new residents. All of her patients, children, teenagers, and adults alike, are treated with the utmost care, compassion, and professionalism. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to help patients of all ages achieve aesthetically pleasing smiles that improve their self image and overall health. Dr. Rodgers takes pride in each smile that she creates.
